Last night, John and I had our first picture in Juba taken! Of course, it was taken by a Kenyan friend in a Chinese restaurant while we ate with a Malaysian, a Ugandan, a Canadian, another Kenyan, and a Brit, so it wasn't exactly our most authentically Sudanese moment. But hey, at least you can see that we're still here and appear to be in one piece, as reported verbally. :)
We do hope to take more pictures soon, but have been avoiding it so far given the somewhat tense environment. Someday, we will show you what our new home and neighborhood look like!
